Shots for Mommy?

I have two questions regarding shots for me.

Before being discharged from the hospital I received a Pertussis (Whooping Cough) and Flu Shot.  (February 18th)

My question is:  How often do you need to get the Pertussis shot?  And since I just got a flu shot (my first one ever) in February do I need a new one now or do I get another one next February?

Clearly I should just call my doctor, but I like you all so much more!

Pertussis is good for a few years.  I had mine in January and my doctor said I don't need another dose for a while.  The flu shot I would get again because it changes every year depending on the type of flu virus that is going around.  I always get one in the fall of each year.

Adults only need one dose of pertussis. After that you just need a tetanus booster every ten years and flu every fall.
