also for those who are actively trying to conceive, planning on it, or
just thinking about it...
So, list your first name, due date if you're pregnant or ttc timeline, preemie's name and gestational age at birth as well as the reason for their prematurity.

Last Week's Updates: Congratulations to Wally her DS was born full term. Congratulations also to Mommy2CB who found out that she was pregnant last week. She had another beta draw this week and her numbers are doubling. She will have another draw soon and hopefully a U/S too. Keep us updated! In other news Kaydra DS#2 has been moved to the step down unit and has been nippling and bottle feeding. He is working on gaining weight. Praying that your little one is home with you soon. Cara03 is trying to figure out where she's going to get her 17p shots from after last week meningitis outbreak. Any updates?? Curlingrocks has been meeting with a counselor and she believes her subconscious is ready to TTC, she just now needs to get her conscious on the same page. Delphiaraven is almost FULL TERM!!! At her last appointment she was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced. She is hope to keep baking little one for a few more days. Any updates? Sucrets4 has just started her 17p shots. How did the first shot go? Any issues obtaining your meds from the pharmacy? JuliaJAG is 17 weeks along and they found out they are having another little boy! Congratulations! She has also started taking meds for her blood pressure, we are all praying that the meds get your bp in check. Lucy460 has passed her 1hour GTT test and has also passed another milestone of minimal swelling. Lili_h is officially FULL TERM, her 17p shots worked! Great update ladies, keep up the good work.

I have Makena (brand name 17p) waiting for me at my doctor's office. They are switching my shots from Wednesdays to Thursdays due to scheduling. This makes me a little nervous about making it through today without any contractions or cervical changes, but hoping for the best. We still don't know how my insurance will cover the drug as apparently you have to get it through a certain pharmacy dictated by your insurance and that hasn't been all sorted out yet between the clinic and insurance. Then there's the Makena Patient Assistance (because if insurance does cover it, we pay 20% coinsurance, which is about $300 per week. Yikes!). The patient assistance app is underway but won't be settled by tomorrow. All I know is that I will get a shot tomorrow; I can't chance not having it despite whatever the cost ends up being, but my clinic has been great on working with me on all of this.
In other news, I'm growing!!! I swear this baby must be in a growth spurt. My belly is just getting bigger and bigger, sometimes by the hour it seems. I am loving it as I have never been this pregnant before!
DS1 is going to be a gorilla for Halloween. We will trick-or-treat at our few immediate neighbors that we know and then come home to hand out candy.
Ds1 is going to be Darth Vader and ds2 will be Yoda. Ds1 will trick or treat. Not sure about ds2. We may just chill with him on the porch and greet the kids who come.

I guess it's time for me to wander back over here, and I have to say it's encouraging to see that so many of the women who had pre-e/HELLP ended up with a full term baby in subsequent pregnancies!
My DD R was born at 34w1d due to HELLP, and I'm due Feb 16 with DD2!
So far things are looking fine. I had trace protein in my urine last visit, but I had that with DD occasionally at the beginning of my pregnancy and it went away (before coming back at the end with the pre-e), so I'm hoping it's the same here. Still, my OB and midwife noted it and said it's something to keep an eye on.
QOTW: We live overseas and Halloween isn't really celebrated here. I did carve a pumpkin while DD watched this morning, but that's probably all we'll do to celebrate this year.
BFP1: DD1 born April 2011 at 34w1d via unplanned c/s due to HELLP, DVT 1 week PP
BFP3: DD2 born Feb 2013 at 38w4d via unplanned RCS due to uterine dehiscence
Sorry for the delay in updates! As of today I'm officially 37 weeks! Such a huge milestone for me and my lil one. I was getting a bit nervous last night though. I went through almost three hours of contractions at exactly 7 minutes apart with back pain and cramping the whole nine. I was able to fall asleep though and now they are pretty staggered and irregular again. At least I feel we will have less of a chance for a NICU stay now if he were to come.
Edit : Oh and I did have to have some blood work done at my last appointment this previous Thursday. They are concerned with all the itching and such I'm having (legs, tummy, arms, everywhere). They said if I am having trouble with my gallbladder/liver like they suspect I might be they will induce me as soon as they get the results back from the lab, which should be sometime this week. Hopefully it's all just a false alarm!
