Which meds did you refrigerate??

My meds got here pretty late this evening. Too late for me to call my clinic or shoot my nurse an email. I went through all the meds and the only one that said needed to be refrigerated from the start was Follistim. The Lupron said "refrigerate after opening" and the HCG said to refrigerate after mixing. I expected the PIO to be refrigerated... but those said to keep at room temp too.

I feel like I should be doing more. Putting more in the fridge. I don't know! Freaking out here... For no reason I'm sure! LOL

Which of your meds did you have to refrigerate?? Help me feel better about all of this please! LOL!!

You sound like your set to go. I only refrigerated Lupron after puncturing everything else I kept at room temperature. Good Luck!!

I refrigerated follistim, lupron, cetrotide (I know you didn't say you we're taking)

unrefridgerated was PIO, ganerelix, menapour (I know you didn't say you we're taking last two)

i think the PIO is best not cold since its oil based.

    good luck :)

Thanks Nikki! I'm going to be on Menopur, too. But I knew that didn't need to be refrigerated because I've had two vials for about a month that were leftover from a friend's cycle and I was told to keep that at room temp!
I feel much better already about the PIO not being refrigerated though :)

Everything should be labeled very clearly as to what HAS to be refridgerated. Mine came from the pharmacy with a small cooler with what had to be refridgerated.

    FRIDGE:   Follistim, Lupron, HCG

NO FRIDGE: Ganirelix, Menopur, PIO (that stuff is thick enough, refridgerating it would make it even worse!)

    Hope that helps.

It was a powder vial and a liquid vial, just like the Menopur, but my box said refridgerate. That was the trigger I used for all of my IUIs. This time, for my IVF I used Lupron as a trigger.

I refrigerated the follistim and the Novarel after I mixed it for trigger.  My Menopur and ganerelix stayed at room temp.

All my meds except for Gonal F (follitism) and trigger (Ovidrel) were NOT refridgerated (Lupron and Menopur).  I believe I read somethere there are different variations of the Lupron and that is why some are and some aren't.

TTC since 2008, our little miracle arrived July 2013!
