I know this has been done before- I apologize for a repeat.
I am looking for a car seat that I can keep LO rear facing as long as possible, medium price range, not too difficult to install, and comfortable for LO.
I am looking at an Evenflo Symphony 65 right now if anyone has one.
Thank you!
Re: Recommend ( or not) your convertible car seat
The side "wings" make it a bit more difficult than it would be otherwise to get LO in and out. If you have a small car or a car with narrow doors it might even be impossible. I have a minivan and it's a little bit of a pain. We can't use it in DH's Legacy at all. Also, LO can't see anything but what's in front of him which frustrates him sometimes. He's always trying to peer around the sides.
But safety wise it's great and comfort wise we've had no issues.
Whatever you do, DON'T get the Graco Nautilus.
It doesn't rear face!
But it does, however, hold up to 100 lbs.... Forward facing only!
(ETA NOT POST RELATED: I just noticed your name, how's your little dude sleepin?)
We have the Maxi-Cosi Pria and its awesome, she loves it! I narrowed my search down to a few and then walked around the store feeling them and this one felt by far the most comfortable.

Graco Myride65.
rear facing till 40 lbs forward facing till 65 lbs.
At home in MI we have a Britax Pavilion 70-G3 and at our condo in FL we have an Evenflo seat (I can't remember if we bought a Symphony or a Triumph - we bought it on our last trip there before DD was born, and we haven't been back there yet)
