Travel advice

DH and I are taking DD to the cabin this weekend. Is there anything that we should bring for a three week old to make the trip easier? We will be mostly relaxing and walking around the lake for five days, I was planing on bringing both our ergo w/insert  and my ring sling. 

Any travel tips are welcome, it is normally a 6 hour drive so we are planning on 8 this time.

Great time to travel.  We moved from WI to CO and drove with DD2 when she was 2 weeks, she was still really sleepy and didn't mind her car seat at all.  Yeah, just allow some extra time - we stopped every 3 hours, max, to let her out of the seat, stretch out, change her diaper, etc.
