So DH is OOT for work until the end of the week. That leaves me with DD (4), DS1 (22 months), and DS2 (7 wks) all to myself for the next several nights.
After eating dinner outside in the driveway (makeshift picnic for DD and DS1), I put DS2 to bed in our room in the RNP and got DD and DS1 to bed upstairs in their room all before 8pm. First time that's ever happened, and I did it all by myself.
I have no idea how it all worked out, but I'm praying this is a sign it will be a good night... I've spent the past hour catching up on chores, and am about to hit the sack for a bit before DS2 wakes up to nurse.
Anyone else have a personal AW moment recently??

Re: AW: Personal achievement
ETA: I did my make up on the ride to work ... bad bad girl.
The only thing I'm proud of is I haven't cried in 3 days lol!
I give you mad props for sure. Mornings are super tough! I haven't worn make-up in forever because I literally don't have the 5 extra mins when trying to get the kiddos ready for pre-school in time. And I am not a multi-tasker while driving for sure, so I just go for glossy chapstick LOL.

Thanks!
And ha! You've definitely got me beat on the crying. I cried earlier today when all three kids were crying at the same time. I just figured, "if I can't beat 'em, join 'em."

Isn't is crazy what we get excited about now with LOs?? It's like, "Oh, I got to shower today!" or "We made it through an entire meal without a meltdown or blowout diaper!"

We had plans to visit some friends in the city last weekend and DH suddenly had something come up. I made the trek into the city with both kids on my own and ended up having a great little afternoon! DS1 loved seeing all the people and cars, and DS2 slept in the stroller pretty much the whole time.
Proud Mama to cleft cutie
I struggle getting 2 kids to bed on time. Which, I'm not going to lie, has not happened yet!! It's an achievement if I get DS1 in bed on time, before DS2 starts crying. :P
