Hello there!
So just getting an early start on things and was wondering what you used for newborn stage and sleeping. I want something that can be in the room with us, either in the bed or right next for breast feeding. With DS we used a rocking bassinette (hated...was old, got rid of), then the FP rocking n' play sleeper, which worked well initially but I was never cracy with the fact that their legs ended up in a wierd position. So long story short, I am looking for your input and experience. The two main products Im interested in are the
Arms reach mini co sleeper https://www.amazon.com/Arms-Reach-Co-Sleeper-Bassinet-Convertible/dp/B00198F1X8/ref=sr_1_4?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1349107397&sr=1-4&keywords=co+sleeper
and the Nap Nanny Chill
or open to other suggestions! Thanks in advance !
Re: Arms reach cosleeper vs. nap nanny chill
I think if I were to do it again I would go for the arm's reach in the bedroom. I did basically the same thing, just pulled a regular bassinette up to the side of my bed and it was so convenient for the first 10 weeks or so.
The nap nanny seems good for daytime naps, IMO. I would probably stick that in my living room or something.
have you checked with green berries?
DD#2 slept in the RnP for about two months before we switched her to the ARCS Mini.
If I had it to do again, I would've picked the regular sized one. She very quickly outgrew the mini.
I love the Arms Reach but ditto a pp, I wish we had gotten the full size and not the mini. He can still fit in it and likes it but it is starting to get too small. We put him in his crib at 3 months (when he basically started STTN) but he has been waking up over the past few weeks and we have found that if we put him in the ARCS he pases back out and is back to STTN. so I wish we had the bigger one because he still likes it.
I wanted to use a co-sleeper or the like for sleeping at night because i wanted him to transition to his crib - which he did pretty easily and was sleeping a solid 10 hours before the past few weeks (I think something is going on developmentally maybe, who knows). But it was a simple transition because he lies flat in both with no movement.
