We're having a boy, we're shocked! And completely nameless. DH is insanely picky, thinks most boy names are too trendy or too old fashioned so that leaves with nothin :!

I'd suggest going to the Social Security name site and reading through the top-1,000 lists for 1900, 1925, and 1950. Look for something that sounds modern but isn't.

I would definitely avoid names that end in 'son' (think Jackson, Harrison, Jamison, Grayson), because I feel they are super trendy.  I would also avoid -den endings for the same reason.  Go with something more traditional, or possibly even European to go with your sib set.  Our short list for our team green baby is Nathan and Charles with MN William.
