Two days ago, right at 8 weeks, it seems as though my nausea disappeared! I don't feel like I'm going to hurl every second and the thought of food isn't repulsing. Although I like being able to eat, I don't, however, like that my most dominant symptom is gone...it's a love hate relationship.
I don't have personal experience with this, but just from reading other posts and comments here, it sounds like it's normal. I guess the hcg levels off around that time, and so the symptoms might lighten up a bit.
I've had something similar with my boobs. They were so sore that it hurt even when my shirt brushed against them. Then one day the soreness just went away, but now it's back. It's probably just the fluctuating hormones.
Yup me to! I agree with loving that the symptom is gone but hate that its missing in a way lol. This is why I can't wait until baby starts moving so I don't need the symptoms to feel pregnant
So... what you are saying is, if I manage to survive the next week or so, my nausea might begin to subside as well? Hello, light at the end of the tunnel, nice to see you!
My second pregnancy totally sucked. My hyperemesis was so bad I cannot even remember how many times I walked around at work (I was an ER nurse at the time) with an IV pole getting a couple liters of fluid and something for nausea. I was also hospitalized a couple times. The third one has been remarkably better. So yes, those people that say the second one is so much better were lucky!

I can't say it's disappeared but it's getting better. 2 weeks ago I was begging my RE to let me go to the hospital. He didn't want me to because of the exposure so I suffered at home.
In the last 3 days I've only had to take my nausea meds once and today I woke up feeling pretty 'normal'. I'm still EXTREMELY tired and fatigue very quickly but triplets take a lot to grow apparently. I still get very dizzy after being active for about an hour (going to lunch or grocery store is about all I can do) and have to go home and lie down.
I am happy to say that my nausea has gotten considerably better and I'm so thankful. This is my first pregnancy (and last!) and I never expected it to be so difficult. I'm hoping the worse of the symptoms are going and I can start being happy for pregnancy!
TTC since 3/4/2010
Me: PCOS, DH: normal
Started seeing RE 11/10/2011 8/31/2012 =
BFP!!
First Ultrasound... TRIPLETS! EDD 5/11/13
Baby w/ no HB @ 10w4d - We love you angel baby.
Baby A & B doing great. A/S 12/10/12 - Healthy BOYS! Sawyer & Silas born at 33+6 on 3/29/13
My nausea magically reduced at 7 weeks 6 days. It was great all last week until 8 weeks 4 days - then it amped up again.
However, that only lasted about 2 days and it seems like it's leveling off again. I'd like to think this is the last surge of HCG and my mighty ol' placenta will start taking over this week!
There is nothing more relieving then not feeling like death for weeks at a time.

I am right there with you! I still have a little, but not nearly as much as I have had the past couple weeks.
It's good to hear I'm not the only one. I was about 5 minutes from running out and buying a fetal doppler to see if I can hear anything...

Yay for our placentas!
