suggest your car seats

I just had my shower yesterday and I started thinking of things we need to get and I realized that we dont have a car seat. We dont have a ton of money so I need something thats not too expensive but will keep LO safe.

The extra base bundle is a great deal if you have 2 cars.

The Diono Radian is incredible. It's a little pricey starting out ($250), but it goes from 5-120 lbs, from newborn to booster and is incredibly safe.  In addition, if you plan on having a few, you can fit three across a bench seat.  It also has a 10 year expiration so it is the only seat you'll ever have to buy.

We got the Baby Trend infant carrier car seat. I love the colors and it has great safety ratings. It fits into our double stroller.

My DS has the Graco My Ride 65 convertible car seat. We love that one too. DS is very comfortable. That one fits infants too, but is not as convenient as an infant carrier.

I second the Graco Snugride. Chicco Keyfit has high safety ratings and is reasonably priced also.

I got the Chicco Keyfit 30 with the Snap n' Go (which was $99). Not the cheapest, but saved a bundle since I didn't have to spend a lot on a stroller for a few months!

we got the britax marathan 60 or 70 (don't remember now). just had it installed, it goes from infant to toddler (5-50 lbs), it's big but good and gets good reviews, we looked it up in the Baby Bargains book.
