LO had diarrhea that started yesterday morning.  He went 5 times yesterday and he's gone twice this morning.  He's still eating and drinking ok.  He has wet diapers and tears.  He seems to be acting ok, except his bottom is obviously really sore.  I'm going to get some pedialyte and BRAT diet stuff at the store in a bit.  At what point do you call the pedi?  I'm guessing since he's acting ok it probably just has to run it's course, but I don't know how long is too long.

My LO had a little bug a couple of weeks ago, and the diarrhea lasted about 7 days.  I had checked with the pedi, who said that diarrhea can last up to two weeks before it is a big concern.  It sounds like you are doing the right things with the pedialyte and BRAT diet.  I also used Culturelle in her oatmeal during and after and that helped.
