It was in the news recently about arsenic in all types of rice, especially brown rice. It's because it grows soaked in water. The brown rice is not stripped down after like white. I'm not sure on brands that were tested but I switched DD to oatmeal.
It's rice grown in fields that were formally Cotten fields. The culprit is a pesticide used years ago to combat boll weevils In Cotten plants. Mainly the southern United States is affected TX, LA, AR etc.
