Baby's poop sounds like a bomb exploding

I am going to call the pediatrician on Monday, but it seems like when my baby poops it is like a bomb is exploding in his diaper.  Does anyone else experience this?  He has also been super fussy the past two days and cannot figure out how to get him calm.

Mine only poops in the afternoon and evening, when she does go she is so loud the dogs run out of the room!

That is funny about the dogs runnign out.  My computer connection is not that great and I just saw the other post from earlier about the same thing.  I guess this is really normal for these babies right now.  Just being a new mom, it all scares me and I want to make sure he is healthy and good.

Yeah, it's normal, I think.

E was super fussy and it was hard to calm him because it was gas pains. We put in super extra effort into burping and I took a serious look at what I was eating and crossreferenced with the list of common gascausing foods. I had eaten spaghetti, pizza, leftover spaghetti, and grape tomatoes all in 24 hours and he was miserable. Cut out tomatoes and noticed big improvement. Good luck!

Yep. As I've described it in other posts, when DD sharts herself, it's like she's trying to rip a hole in her diaper:)
