T&Ps please-update

My dad is in surgery this morning getting a basal cell carcinoma removed from his eye.

I just talked to my mom and after 6 hours of surgery they found four spots to cut out and send to pathology and because they had to cut out so much of his eyelid, they had to take skin from the other eyelid and graft it on and they sewed his eye shut for the time being. So, he currently can't see out of either eye and the cancer seemed to be more serious than they originally thought. Hopefully they got everything and it will be a quick recovery. The thought of having my eye sewed shut is giving me the willies, that is the stuff of nightmares.

Thanks for the update! I hate to hear that it was worse than they thought but I am glad they got those spots out. Praying for a speedy recovery for him and good news from the path lab!
