Positive? Or leftover trigger shot?

I had my first IUI done this month. I was given the trigger shot on 9/14, I am now 13dpt...and 11/12dpo. (I had back to backs done.) I didn't test out of my trigger, and am kicking myself! Both yesterday and today, I had positive FRER, with today's test having a darker line than yesterday. Also, I have taken digital tests the last 3 days...the two previous were negative, with today's being positive. Could this be a real positive, or just my trigger? Doctor won't see me until Sunday! Opinions?

I never tested out my triggers for my IUIs or my IVF but for my IUIs, I tested a few times at 12dpiui and got a negative so my trigger was clearly out of my system by then. Having said that, there are plenty of ladies whose triggers hang out a bit longer.

I would say there's a good chance this is the real deal but I wouldn't get too excited until you test at 14dpiui/dpo. If it's positive then, you're probably PG.

It's hard to say. My first iui I also didn't test out my trigger and got a false BFP at DPO 13 . I am the exception not the norm. Good luck!

Thanks, everyone! We are cautiously optimistic. It makes me feel good that the lines get darker every day,instead of lighter.

I had trigger in my system for a really long time, but the line got lighter every day.  Since yours is getting darker I think you've got a real BFP on your hands!!!  Fx!

I think you are looking good for a true positive! I tested my trigger out every cycle, and it always showed up faint until beta. This past cycle, it started getting darker around 10dpo, but not dark enough that I trusted it until 12 or 13dpo. Good luck!

A few things, either test out your trigger or wait for your blood test. Its so hard I know, but its the only true way to know.

With that being said, if your test is getting darker and you had a negative digital then a positive digital I think congrats are in order. Digitals are the devil! I was pregnant and the First Response GOLD said I was not. My Beta was just under 100 so that is why it wasnt working, but I am not over 9 weeks along. I would be cautiously optimistic, but optimistic none the less.

I've also gone through a chemical, but it never got that much darker so...... although id wait to confirm. I hope you are!

I think you are pg! I didn't test out my trigger, had some negatives like you, then my positive. My RE specifically told me she was glad I had negatives first because that means the trigger is out of my system. Test again tomorrow and I'm crossing my fingers for you.

Thank you so much for all of the responses, everyone! I retested this morning (14 dpt), and still had a dark positive! I think that's a good sign! I will test the next two mornings before my blood test, on Sunday. But, every day I get just a tad more excited.
