I read this and checked mine from like 2007 or whatever, and there were no private messages, but just really lame wall posts. Probably because I used to communicate with people back and forth on their wall which almost never happens now.

I checked. They aren't wall posts my address is in there and I never post it publicly. I'm on my sitters account reading them right one. I changed the settings to not show old posts and now it is only showing all wall posts. I am going to check harder when I get home computer.

I heard this too, but I have at least 1 friend that knew a couple things posted were actual PMs because she checked her message archive.  Either way, I went back and hid a lot of that stuff from my timeline anyway, because I didn't want some of that stuff visible anymore. 

BK, can you see any on my timeline? I can only use the app onmy phone for FB at work?

This exactly. They are not private messages. They are old wall posts from before everyone realized that everyone could read them when they had long private conversations with people on their walls.

I can't believe how open I was on my wall back in the day.  Those were simpler, drunker times.
