There will be an Ikea opening in KS. About 5 minutes from my house. I'm ridiculously excited.

You are going to LOVE it! Ours is 45 minutes away and we go there all the time just to eat their meatballs. Their kids stuff is awesome.

The kid stuff is great, our nursery is basically all from there, plus our highchair, bibs, toys...yup, I'm a fan.

We also just redid our kitchen with Ikea cabinets and appliances. My house should now be sponsored by Ikea.

I loooove IKEA.  I just found that ours has a full blown mother's room, which is a changing station (diapers and wipes provided), sink, and chair for nursing.  It was awesome!  Plus they had 2 of their mobiles hanging above the changing station, so J actually laid still!

oh man i am jealous. We live in shopping center land but the closest IKEA is 45 minutes away so i never go. if one was near by i can't even tell you what would happen.

My KC friends have been posting about the new IKEA like crazy. There is one 45 minutes away from me but I don't go very often. It can be such a mad house! They have some great buys though, especially home organization stuff.

My husband and I are addicted to IKEA. In fact, when he got home from work tonight, I told him we have to make a trip there this Sunday. He said, "make a list"...haha.

DH took me there on a surprise date once.  Yes, he took me to IKEA on a date.  I thought I was gonna kill him, but the meatballs were surprisingly tasty!
