Less than 3 weeks after m/c, AF starting... what gives?

I am starting to get all the signs that AF will be here soon.  I got my "period" (aka chemical pregnancy) not even three weeks ago.  Typically my cycles are at least 31 days long.  Can anyone shed some light on this?  It's weird...

    I know that there seem to be differing opinions on this, but my doctor told me that the bleeding I was experiencing with my loss (also early) was not considered a period and it was quite possible that I could experience a period a couple of weeks after.

    I has my loss on the 8/5 and AF showed on the 8/31.

    Since you are just experiencing "signs" that she is coming it doesn't necessarily mean that she is coming soon. That being said, it could be that your hCG levels have hit zero and now your body is resetting itself and AF is starting or it could be that you still have residual hCG and your body is getting rid of the last bit of it.

    Most cycles are anything but normal after a loss, even an early loss like a cp. It might take a couple months or longer before things get back to "normal".

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    I had my MC 8/27 and AF came to visit exactly 3 weeks after it. I had only stopped bleeding roughly 2 weeks ago, so I was shocked that she was here already. I'm going to check in with my doctor today, I'll ask her about mine and see what she says, and hopefully that will shed some light on yours as well.
