I have twin girls that will be close to 11 months at halloween and we are trying to think of costumes for them. I think we are just going to sit on the porch for a little while and give out candy. DH wants to do Two peas in a pod costumes for them. The costumes are really cute from what I have seen, but I don't think they will like them. Basically their hands are the only things free and their faces have an opening at the top to serve as one of the peas in the pod. What are you all planning on doing for you lo for costumes this year??
My daughter is going to be the strawberry from Gymboree. I wasn't sure if she will be walking or not in a month and wanted something that would be good if it is hot/cold since you never know in TX.
When DD was 11 months old she was a ladybug. It was super cute. I think I got it at Gymboree.
This year, DS is going to be baby Woody, from Toy Storey. His sister is going to be Jessie:
This is what I was going to suggest!

DD is going to be the honeycomb from the front of this book (https://books.google.com/books/about/Baby_Costumes.html?id=TSmNJgAACAAJ)
. I changed some things here and there about it...but it was pretty easy to make. If you have a little time (although with twins I'm sure that suggestion might be laughable!) you may want to see if your library has this book or another book of baby costumes (many don't require sewing...which I cannot do!).

This is our DD's costume too!! It's so adorable, FI was dead set on her being a pumpkin and this was the only costume that he thought was cute enough to steer him away from big round orangeness lol
ETA: Is anyone dressing up with their LO? We're going to our Zoo's halloween party and probably go to a couple houses with family to show her off, early int he night of course! But I was going to dress up for the zoo's party, something not super ostentatious. So I was thinking this witch:
I came across a strawberry daiquiri costume which with DD being a strawberry I thought it would be adorable, but it it's a tube dress style and I don't think it would be comfortable.
Proud babywearing, breastfeeding, vaccinating SAHM of 2U2!
my twins will be a year the day after halloween and Im stumped on costumes too! I'd like them to go together in theme but also be something they won't hate to have on. DH wants to just put them in their skeleton pjs but I just think thats a lazy way out. I like thing 1 & thing 2 but DH doesn't.

I'm planning to order one of those tutu costumes on etsy. I can't decide between a ghost and a lady bug they're both so cute! I have to decide soon though otherwise it won't been here for halloween...
I got a cow costume from Gymboree for super cheap at one of their clearance sales over the summer. I also have a Tigger outfit that I will dress her up in. We're planning on taking her out to a few houses just for fun (so we can get candy;). (weather permitting of course).
E is going to be a monkey (he'll be 10.5 months at Halloween), so I wanted a costume that would allow him to walk if he is walking by then. Our dog is going to be a banana.
My nephew's bday party is a costume party, so he'll wear the costume to that and will sit outside with us as we give out candy. I doubt we'll take him around trick-or-treating, he can't eat the candy and DH and I don't need it!

Maybe you could create your own sushi platter??

This is what my LO is going to be. I am no seamstress by any means and this outfit was SUPER easy to make and low budget!

Maybe dress them up as Tigger and Pooh?
My mom is making a banana costume for our daughter. My husband is going to dress up as a gorilla and carry her around my office safe trick or treat.
