Eyebrow threading.....

Hurts like a mother flucker.

I had it done on my lunch break today.  My eyes teared up a few times.  I was in desperate need to some eyebrow maintenance though.

Try having your whole face threaded! I did my side burns, chin, lip, and eyebrows. Eyebrows were the easiest part. I'd do the brows and lip again, but I actually didn't like the super smooth sideburns- made my face feel sticky if that makes sense. Plus I broke out all over the place.

Interesting... I've never done it, but I heard one of the reasons to do it was because it hurt less than waxing and was easier on your skin. Maybe I'll just stick with wax.

I don't like threading, I don't like the way it looks I like natural eyebrows.  I would still do my upper lip but it's so red for so long.

OMG - the lip is the worst. Still, it doesn't hurt afterwards like waxing and I love the way it looks. I'll do the pain every three weeks to be 'stache free.

I didn't think it hurt any more than waxing, but waxing was quicker so I usually do that.

I always get a complex when I go and they ask if I want my lip done, too. I have very blonde hairs on my lip and have to reaffirm with DH or my mom that I do not, in fact, have a visible mustache.

I think the pain level depends on the threader.  Some of them hurt like a mother, while others have better technique and don't hurt as bad.

There is a threading kiosk in my local mall. I always wonder who in their right mind is subjecting themselves to such awkward torture right there in the middle of the mall.

Mine has never hurt. I much prefer it to waxing.

What's the benefits of threading? I usually get my brows and lip waxed. Is it typically cheaper?
