  • F&C detergents generally aren't recommended for CDs, I've not heard very good things about it.

  • We use the military version that i buy at the commisary and have had no problems! I don't think you're supposed to use it unless it is the military version though. It has no optical brighteners the normal one does.

  • I use it and have had no problems.  I use the recommended amount and do an extra short cycle instead of just an extra rinse.  My dh has super sensitve skin and was getting rashes from me using "clean rinsing" detergents from the residue just in the washer, so if I wanted to cloth diaper all f&c was my only option.  So I went for it and have had no problems so far and have been using it 3 or 4 months.  I did switch out all my microfiber inserts for cotton/bamboo/hemp because I didn't like the feel of microfiber.  It may be more of an issue with microfiber and the stinky complaints.
