Hi there!

I know you are looking at a position in San Ramon, good luck!

 

I don't know if it was mentioned in your original post, but Livermore is a great town that is only about 20 minutes from San Ramon.  It tends to be a little less expensive than some of the other areas.  It would probably be worth while to check it out.

 

We just moved there in March and I absolutely love it.  Very family friendly, lots of young families and lots of fun events in the Downtown.

Thank you!  That is great info and exactly what I am looking for - I don't care to be in the best/most expensive area, just family friendly with opportunities for my dh too. 

I'm in a waiting phase right now to see what will happen.  I officially said I was interested in the position so it is up to the powers that be now.  *crossing fingers, knocking on wood* I hope discussing things early doesn't jinx anything, but there is a lot to consider with a potential change like this.
