June 2011 Moms

What's for dinners this week?

Our plans:
S: Leftover pizza when we got home from softball
M: Burgers, salad and Tater Tots
T: Baked Breaded Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Veggies
W: Spaghetti and Meatsauce, salad
R: Grilled Chicken sandwiches, tater tots, some kind of veggie
F: going to a 30th birthday party (#2 of 3 this month)

We're trying to take advantage of the cooler weather to grill a few things and use my homemade sauce!  Seriously, this sauce is addicting!

This sounds delicious with the chicken sub.  I don't eat seafood and sometimes I adjust for chicken, but generally just turn away when I see shrimp in the title!  I may have to try this!

T:  Unstuffed pepper soup and cheddar biscuits

W:  something easy with chicken, still not sure what

    T:  Breakfast for dinner

I know sunset+skies also makes her own BBQ sauce and I do as well. We need to have a BBQ sauce-off!! :)

I usually write up my meal plan on Sunday mornings before heading to the farmer's market. This week, we build an outdoor firewood stand on Sunday morning and I didn't have time. But here's what I know:

T: Leftover chicken with lemon confit: https://www.fraisesettartines.com/2012/02/poulet-au-citrons-confits-preserved.html

W: White bean and ham hock soup: https://www.fraisesettartines.com/2009/01/white-bean-and-ham-soup.html

Th: Probably leftover soup. Maybe with some homemade bread.

    F: Pizza

    Weekend...I dunno. :)

This is my new "fancy" meal b/c it seriously smells restaurant quality in the kitchen. Bonus that BOTH kiddies eat it. I just hide Ella's in a pita with some cheese and make it more of a flat bread sandwich. Cool
