Can anyone recommend a nice local shop? Need to get a good friend a christening present, and thought this would be nice, esp with babys name and bday engraved on it. Open to other ideas if you have any! Thanks.
Not sure about local stores, but we got this engraved baby brush/comb set for both of the girls baptisms. They're gorgeous, and we actually use the brushes! A nice keepsake.
Beverly Bremer (silver shop on Peachtree), Charles Willis (fine china / gifts, on Pharr I think), Gretchen's (fine children's clothing, West Paces Ferry Road), and Children's and Prep Shop (fine children's clothing, Peachtree Battle) - all should carry them. Gretchen's and Children's and Prep Shop will probably each carry only one or two styles; Beverly Bremer is likely to have the most options. I expect all can handle engraving, but if not, definitely take it to Beverly Bremer wherever you buy it.
PS - Beware Gretchen's and Children's and Prep... You *will* want to buy adorable clothes!

Here are four options:

PP has all of the suggestions. I have always had nice experiences with Charles Willis.
