Totally new to the area and just moved from Arizona. Looking for insight and reccomendations on local OB's and hospitals, etc. PLEASE any info would help, I feel lost! - Nicole
Wow, you read my mind. I just moved from Riverside and am looking for a new ob (bummed because I loved my other one) in the exact same area (Yorba/Brea/Anaheim/Orange). I found one online that was highly recommended on ratemd.com (or something similar). I have seen him twice and am just not too impressed. I know Choc (or St Joseph's) is a great hospital but I am just not sure on the right ob. Also, I am open to going to St. Jude hospital as well.
I am looking forward to who comes recommended. Also, if you could let me know why that would be great. I am looking for someone that is up on the technology (didn't realize this was important to me until now) and someone who will help me with my needs and wants (plus a good doctor).
I love Dr. Donna Baick in Orange. She's located in the St. Joseph's Pavillion. She delivered my first baby, and was actually there on call when I went into labor. She has great bedside manner and I absolutely love her assistant, too. Dr. Arthur Goldstein is another doctor in her office and he is awesome, too. He was there to assist with my delivery as well. I highly recommend both of them.
St. Joseph's is one of the number one children hospitals in the OC. I highly recommend them!

Popping over here for the first time in eons but I am a big fan of Dr. Fee/St. Joseph Hospital. Her practice is extremely busy and she's the only OB (she has three NPs who I also absolutely adore) but she did come in mid-day to the hospital to deliver DD. I'm now out in Corona and I'm still driving back to Anaheim Hills to see her.
