For those of you that have already strapped/tethered furniture, what did you tether, and what did you use to tether? I think we'll need to tether a few things in our basement, but I think (for now) most of what we have on the first floor is OK. The TV is wall mounted and everything else is super heavy and low. Like, I can't even move it heavy! And, just in case I'll get his changing table/dresser combo, even though it's so wedged in that I don't see it moving!
TIA!
Re: strapping/Tethering furniture
DH put straps on a bookshelf in our dining room, DS's dresser and small bookshelf, and a bookshelf in our basement. We have 2 other large bookshelves in our living room that are questionable. They are far too heavy for adults to move (while they're loaded with books, etc) but if DS tried to climb up the shelves...not sure. ETA: For now, we have them blocked with a gate.
The straps are something like this.

Thanks! We don't have any bookshelves, but I'm begging to get some shelving to create some storage in our completely finished basement, so I'll have to remember that if I do get it I'll need to strap that! Ideally I want to drywall a section to create a separate room for storage and I'd lock it up, but DH hates that idea.
