DD currently uses a cotton (fleece in winter) sleep sack and I'm not quite ready to move from those but I'm looking into lightweight breathable blankets that are pretty small to think about in a few months.
We use either fleece, knitted or two cotton ones (all baby blankets). I've even used her quilt the past few nights, it's been cold! We got sooo many blankets for baby gifts.
I have the A&a blanket in his bed... Tried o make it a lovey, but no go. Thats what I would use if he kept it on. DD sleeps with 4 AA blankets layered on top of each other. I know they sell one like that, but all together.
We just started using a blanket this week, as it's been colder at night. We use a cotton thermal one. Lightweight and breathable. Doesn't stay on her long, though, she kicks it off or uses it as a pillow.
The A&A blankets. He uses one as a lovey sometimes so I keep 2 in there. He got a fleece one as a birthday gift that I'll use when it gets colder here.
Another A&A blanket user here. Right now she just has the lightweight version ass she is in a sleep sack as well, but we will probably move to a winter weight one when it gets cold here.

Thx all. I have a couple A&A blankets that we haven't used since swaddle days. I will try that in her crib and see what she does. She seems warm enough in the cotton sleep sack and I doubt a blanket will stay on her until she moves to a real bed but I'd like to give her one and see if it helps. She already has a little lovey.
Re: if you use blanket in crib -- reccs?
