Grilling Chicken Question

Stupid question regarding grilling bone in chicken... to par boil or not to par boil? We usually only grill chicken breasts so I'm a little bit at a loss. I found this link that is decidedly against par boiling https://voices.yahoo.com/how-grill-bone-chicken-6139576.html but I'm wondering if any of you have any advice for me.
