Burning and Pain in Vaginal and Pubic Area...

Hey ladies.

So last night I started having intense pain and a burning sensation in my vagina and lower pubic area.  It's hard to explain, but it hurt SO bad to walk, and very uncomfortable to urinate.  It lasted through the night,  Called my OB this morning and she saw me right away.  She monitored the babies for awhile, all was okay. She checked my cervix, and it was still completely closed.  She thought the pain was from contractions and some stretching.  Told me to take it easy today and take some tylenol.  I've been relaxing at home today for a couple hours, but I just got up again from resting and the pain was SO bad again.  It almost feels like a HORRIBLE urinary tract infection.  I don't know, but I'm just worried.  Any one feel this type of pain, discomfort, symptoms?

I'm assuming your OB checked you for a UTI??

 I had a lot of pain and pressure (so bad I had a hard time walking) from week 34-37, but it was just from the babies.

I have OB appointments every week now and she said she tested my urine on Friday, Sept 7th and nothing came up. No UTI, protein, etc.  ???

A lot can change over a weekend.  I'm surprised she didn't check it again just to be sure.  :-/

I agree with the other post... I would maybe have her check for UTI if you  don't feel better by tomorrow.

I had the same thing with DS, urine was clear then 3 days later showed UTI, I had to make them check me again!

I started getting this around 33/34 weeks and it hasn't gone away. I hobble and just bare it. I was told it is the pressure on the pelvic area and having the two babies. None of the docs are concerned (and I am in the hospital on bedrest). So if it doesn't go away, know it is here to stay!
