shoe storage for LO

Now that DD is walking and wearing shoes, how do you store LO's shoes in their closet?  I need some ideas.  Extra points for PIP!  I cleaned out DD's closet yesterday and put her clothes that she has outgrown into space saver bags and was able to condense the clothes from 3 large storage totes to one!  I'm on a roll, so shoes are next

Nikolai has 3 pairs of shoes (and one is now too small so really 2 pairs).  They are in the shoe pile in the hallway along with mine and MH's.  It's a pile because N totes them around and dumps them back into a giant jumble.

Right now he really only has 3 pairs, so I have them in his top drawer with his socks.

We have an over the door shoe organizer. Right now her shoes are small enough the pair fit in one slot. We got it at Target. It has 24 shoe slots and two smaller slots at the top. I'll try to pip below but I don't think it will work...

We have a little bin thing that I keep on her changing table shelf.  Actually there are three of them, 2 hold the cloth diapers and 1 holds her shoes.

Thanks for the responses!  I could probably clean out a drawer in her dresser for shoes.  She is acquiring quite the shoe collection these days and I know whe will be getting boots, etc. for winter coming up.  I could try the clean bin or over door storage also.  Thanks again!

We have a cute pink basket near the back door for her shoes. She goes in every mornIng and chooses a pair. It's fun and cute.
