1st Trimester

Hi I'm new

Hello my name is Saria, I just found out I'm pregnant, I've taken 3 different home pregnancy test of different brands and all turned out positive. I'm unsure if I'm happy or scared as this is the second time I've been pregnant, the first time was almost 5 years ago and it ended in miscarriage after 10 weeks. I have a schedule doctors appointment this week and I'm extremely nervous about it. So far I've just been extremely tired and really hungry, I think I'm 5 or 6 weeks pregnant. My only question is has anyone here felt pain (I dont know if its cramping) when they get up sometimes? I was laying on the couch and I got up a bit to quick and I felt some tight pain in my abdomen , it didn't last long only a few seconds but kind of scared me, is it something I should be concern about?

Re: Hi I'm new

  • That pain is probably round ligament pain and it is totally normal.  Most people don't get it until a little further on, but some, like me, get it as early as 5 weeks.  Slow movements will become a habit in no time!

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

  • Congrats on your pregnancy! You will feel a lot on random pain in a lot of random places in the next 9 months. Try not to worry about it too much and enjoy the enjoyable parts of pregnancy.

  • I agree with round ligament pain for the symptom you're explaining also. It happened early for me my last two pregnancies (before 7 weeks.) Luckily, for me, that was the worst symptom I had! Just take it easy. Congratulations though!
