Due date was yesterday!

My ticker is finally out of the "gestational age" category!  To celebrate, Julia got her two month shots on Wednesday and passed her final ROP eye exam yesterday!

I sure wish she would have baked longer and avoided the scary and painful medical procedures that she endured her first week of life (and the 43 days of NICU), but on the upside I've had two extra months of cuddles.

DD#1, Alexa, Born 8/08; TTC # 2 since 3/2010; 8 IUI BFN; 1 cervical pregnancy in April 2011; IVF #1 Dec 2011 worked. EDD = 9/7/12. Bedrest starting 6/4/12. Julia Mae born 7/1/12, home 8/12/12. Lilypie Premature Baby tickers

    Yay! I am lurking from high-risk and this makes me so happy to read about! I am 30w2d right now and am on bed rest for IC and risk of PTL. Julia's story gives me hope that all will be well with my little girl, too :o)

    Happy Unbirthday! I learned about the UnBirthday on here and I'm seriously considering celebrating it every year! I mean, I don't think that Adalyn will mind having an extra cupcake every year, right? Wink

    Congratulations! Happy unbirthday! I too will be celebrating it next year! (good job urban flowerpot! Btw I'm not sure I noticed you are from Philly before! Yay) 

     

    I think hitting my due date was a huge relief for me. At the time I didn't relive it but looking back it was a new start in a way. Congrats on being out of the weeks!
