Repronex coverage through Walgreen's?

I know Tricare stopped doing business with Walgreen's earlier this year. My doctor is calling in a RX for Repronex injectibles and apparantly they are the only pharmacy in my area that carries this medication. Has anyone else faced this as an issue and if so, how much should I expect to pay out of pocket?

do you need it right away? If you have a referral to your doctor who prescribed them the on base pharmacy will order them and they will be free. Otherwise I would call walgreens and ask how much it is going to be. They will tell you. You can also call CVS and ask them to order it. I needed an injectable last year and ended up calling 13 cvs before I found one who had some. Much better than paying the 2000 it would have cost me out of pocket

$2000?! Whoa! That is crazy expensive! I need it in the next 2 weeks. Not sure if the post pharmacy can get it in in time. Worse case worse I can skip the injections this cycle and start just on the Clomid and start the injections next cycle if I don't get a BFP.

they usually get it within 2-7 business days. i get all of my fertility drugs through the base pharmacy and they have to order all of them and they only take a couple of days. if they cant get it in time cvs usually gets them within 24 hours

Last time I had to special request something from the base hospital pharmacy it only took a week to come in.
