I called Verizon and told them what my text said. She brought it up in their computer and got the number and copy of the text. She was very apologetic and assured me that this would be taken care of. She said that other people have received phone calls like this in her office too-so I'm not the first one to get one and complain.
She also gave me 100 free minutes (whatever, I think she was just trying to be nice.). I told her it wasn't necessary and she said to take it because it will roll over month to month.
