$81 for a newspaper

Obama wins newspapers.  Has anyone seen how much newspapers are going for on eBay?  One NY times has a bid of $81 or a lot of 5 different papers for $255.  That's just crazy.  Gee, I wish we would have gotten more than one on 11/5.

Me, my dad, and DH separately went to a total of almost 50 places looking for a paper yesterday.  No dice.  I would totally pay for those 5 papers if I had that type of money to spend.

I understand wanting to have one and we do, and boy am I glad that we got it for a $1.50.

Oh yea! I got BOTH a Chicago SunTimes AND a Chicago TRIBUNE sitting on my dining room table!

DH rarely works a night shift, but it turned out he had to Tuesday night so he was at a CVS at 6am and ended up with 3 Suntimes and 2 Tribs. My brother and BIL wanted copies.

Wow, I had no idea. I live in a tiny little town, and I still had to take the display paper because the only one left that wasn't a display had the cover taken. Luckily I only paid .50 for it, I wanted it for DD's baby book.

I'm pretty sure you can just go to the papers building and buy back copies from them.  They have told me this in the past when I needed birth announcement.
