I have not really heard too many good names in public lately. I think the worst one was a lady in IKEA yelling out her kids name, Seven. Not Sven, but SEVEN. If she had not yelled it repeatedly I would have thought for sure it was Steven or something.
Just met a sibset of three (adorable) girls named Grace, Georgia and Annika. So cute.
The worst? Hmmm....Well, I have a FB friend due to have a Brooklyn anytime, but that's not just terrible. It's spelled correctly, and it's popular enough that I'm over it as a "bad name."
Lots of my Facebook friends are having babies right now, so my best and worst are taken from there. Best-friend just named her baby Roderick. Worst-friend due any day is planning on naming her baby Shaylynn. Ew.
Hmm.. a kind of unique name that made me smile recently was Mamie. She was a student I taught in summer school, and she would have been maybe 11? Going into middle school. Another good one- a friend named her son Henry Clark. I thought that was a great Fn/Mn combo.
Bad? Well, this isn't unusual anymore, but I was really, unpleasantly surprised that an old friend of mine gave her daughter the middle name Nevaeh.
Best name, Sparrow Rain, yes it is different and extremely celeb worthy but it is just so unique, brave and perfect for this particular child. Worst, Gift Blessing!

Best: met a baby Athena, thought it was adorable!
Worst: the fact that there are four Braden's going into first grade at DS's school... Spelled three different ways.
Worst: Taliyha (pronounced Ta-LEE-ah)... the pronounciation totally throws me off. I think it has the potential to be a pretty name but not like that.

I was talking to a mom in Target the other week who had a baby my DD's age. Her name was Colette. I thought it was so pretty and refreshing!
Worst would be Picasso. I heard his mother yelling after him at the zoo.
Assuming that's supposed to be Talia, that's a correct pronunciation.
An old coworker of mine named her son Wrigley. The last name is Fields.
They are Cubs fans to say the least. He actually threw out the first pitch once and has had small blips in Sports Illustrated and stuff.
