Is it possible...

...for a baby to just wean themself off the bottle? Cara suddenly has no more interest in a bottle. She'll take a couple sips and then push it away, and will come back for more a few minutes later. Over and over. Should we just go straight to a sippy?

    She does use a sippy. I should have mentioned that. She gets a sippy at meals and playtime. I guess I'm just wondering if it's possible that a baby just suddenly stops taking a bottle. I had myself convinced I'd have to do all this work to get her to stop using a bottle!

    O does that also!! I was wondering is she was self weaning too.

    I also asked this question on FB and pretty much got the same responses. If she is giving up the bottle on her own, go with it!

    B has been doing the same thing but I think it's bc she doesn't want to stay still long enough to drink it.

    Totally possible.  DS weaned himself off one of his daily bottle feedings. 

    Go with the sippy!
