Hi, I was out most of yesterday so I missed a lot of posts.  But weren't you asking some questions b/c you and your family will be moving out here?  If that's the case then you're practically a NorCal-er anyway so you should definitely post on our board!  We love meeting new friends!  (This is in re: to your reply to MyABCLife where you said you hoped we didn't mind you posting on our boards).  Welcome!  :)

    I definitely do not want to jinx anything - but I have had a few discussions about a position that would move us out there.  I figured this would be a great place to start getting info on areas to live, daycares and insight on the actual cost of living.  I live in such a cheap area that I will be honest, the increase scares me a little.  But, I have been to the area for work a few times and think it is just gorgeous! 

    Thank you for the welcome and keep your fingers crossed for me!  I should know more in a couple weeks.

    Ooh, good luck!  I hope you're able to move out here!  I've got my fingers crossed!  Which makes it a little hard to type but that's okay...  ;)
