So are you hitting the stores for the Labor Day Sales?

If so, what are you getting?

We were going to try and start Christmas shopping, for DD, and our niece and nephews.  But we had a ton of unexpected bills arise this month (like almost $1,000 worth!) we can't.  Sad

It sucks, because next week, we have extra again, and we will miss sales!

We are probably buying paint if we can make up our minds. Home Depot has $5/gallon and Ace Hardware has 20% off/gallon. I might see if we can just buy a couple gallons of white and get color put in later when we know what we want so we can still take advantage of the sale.

Hit up Old Navy Outlet and they had 40% off everything. So I bought a few tanks to wear under shirts in bigger sizes and a few baby outfits. Motherhood Outlet had buy one get one half off maternity jeans so I bought two pairs. Plus I took advantage of ON online sale of 30% off and got a few maternity things. I should be set. Need to stop spending!!!

I used to supervise a paint department at Home Depot.  If you do this you may not be able to use the white as the base for the color you eventually want. The store may let you exchange the paint for the correct base but it all depends on their policies.

That blows! We had planned on picking up our dishwasher this weekend but our car broke down yesterday. No idea what it is going to cost to fix. It's a Prius and almost every single warning light came on while we were on the freeway.  By the time we got it onto surface streets, every warning light was on.  Hoping we are looking at only $500 and not thousands.

Oh no!! I hope it's a simple fix! FX you aren't draining your baby money for a damn car.

Oh that is awful, and sorta part of our situation.  The fuel pump on our truck went up.  Which my father fortunately could fix, but we had to buy the part new....$400.   And we are trying to sell the truck right now, so that made it that much more irritating.

Hope it isn't too bad for you!
