Mucus plug or Evening Primrose Oil?

So I was afraid of this... last night I put in EPO for the first time and this am all kinds of things appeared that were mucus like. Is that the EPO or my mucus plug? I am 39 weeks and a couple days so it's not inconceivable that it could be my mucus plug, but I just don't know...

And if you care to share... how much of the lovely substance makes up a mucus plug? I've heard of it coming out in bits or in a clump. I guess I don't know whether it's bits or the clump considering I'm not sure what I'm looking for.

Not to be TMI, but when I passed mine it looked like a blew my nose in my underwear....I've continued to get little bits of it here and there since (I passed the first big clump about 10 days ago).

I had a little bit Thursday morning, little bit Friday morning, some more last night and a whole bunch this morning. Mine is like clear snot. It's normal to be slightly blood tinged, although I've yet to see that. You can google it...I did the first time :]

Well I'm not sure I'm glad I did that... but I'd say it was definitely my MP, either in part or whole. Yum.
