I finally had my first appt today and got to hear the heartbeat, and got to feel my little peanut by pushing on my abdomin.
I cried when I heard the heartbeat.
My stepmom brought up some type of tumor that causes pregnancy symptoms when I told her and my dad about BFP, which I immediately thought hat it can't be that. This mention of the tumor has now translated into nightmares (nightmares of giving birth to a tumor instead of a baby, not finding a heartbeat and having a u/s that shows a 10lb. tumor, etc). I never thought it was really a tumor, but it got rooted in my subconscious.
But hearing that strong heartbeat (it sounded like it was in surround sound) was the best thing.
