I just want to know if I'm still pregnant! (update and kind of long)
So I posted on Wednesday that I had some bleeding(more brown than red) and was concerned (obviously!) Doc told me to hydrate and stay off my feet, which I did. Thurs brought more bleeding (dark red) with some clots coming out. After waiting 2 hours for the on-call doc to get back to me, they advised me to go to the ER. Unfortunately by the time I got there they were not able to perform an U/S. So they did bloodwork (betas are just under 20k) but it means nothing since I don't have any previous tests for comparison. Called doc today, had an ultrasound and while I technically haven't gotten the bad news yet, it really wasn't good news either. They were still able to see the sac, fetal pole, and gestational sac, but no heartbeat. I'm measuring 5 weeks, 6 days. So....EITHER its a day or two too early to see a heartbeat, OR I've miscarried. The doc won't say for sure until they do a follow up.
I am going absolutely insane and I just want an answer so that I can move on with whatever the next step is! And now with the holiday weekend, they can't see my back until Tuesday.
I still have some bleeding, but it has slowed more to what I was having on Wednesday when it all started. No cramping whatsoever, but I know some women can still have a miscarriage and feel no pain with it. This is my first pregnancy and I don't know what my "normal" is. I feel so helpless and scared. Thanks to everyone who offered T&P from my last post. I hoping for some more from you wonderful ladies, because this is going to be the longest holiday weekend ever!
