Let's do an update about our babies! Since a majority of us have had our 6 month appointment I decided to go ahead with the post. If you haven't gone yet just fill out what you can!

Weight: 19 lbs 1 oz

Height: 28 inches

How many teeth?: 2

Rolling: Yes--both ways now thank goodness

Crawling: No..although he's starting to figure out his legs can help him get places

Pulling self up: Nope..and he hasn't really shown any interest either

Sitting on own: Yes. For my peace of mind I always put a pillow a little bit behind him (he can't feel it) so in case he falls back he won't scream (mainly on our hardwood floors)

Babbling (what types of sounds?): He babbles a lot. Makes "mmm" sounds when eating and has done said the "ma" sound but there's no real meaning to it yet

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Yes for awhile now. I dont know how you ladies who still get up several times a night do it. Seriously kudos to you.

Infant or convertible carseat: convertible and he LOVES it

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Peach yogurt

Favorite toy or activity: Toy--stacking cups from IKEA are the new thing for him

Weight: 16 lbs 9 oz (at his appt 2 weeks ago) Height: 26 1/4 in (2 weeks ago) How many teeth?: None Rolling: Yes Crawling: Nope. He's been up on all fours a few times but then falls over. He is starting to scoot around on his belly though. Pulling self up: Not on his own but if we are holding onto him he will Sitting on own: Yes Babbling (what types of sounds?): Dada and Baba are the most popular right now. He'll do an mmmm sound but no mama yet! STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Mostly, no. He used to but now we're having a tough time. He'll have a few good nights though. Infant or convertible carseat: Infant Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Sweet potatoes!! Favorite toy or activity: FP Snail with a mirror on it, soft books, remotes and cell phones. He still loves being in his Jumperoo and recently decided he likes his playmat again.

Weight: 14 lbs, 12 oz

Height: 24.75 inches

How many teeth?: 2

Rolling: she can roll both ways but won't go from tummy to back

Crawling: no, gotta baby proof soon!

Pulling self up: haven't seen it so I don't think so

Sitting on own: yes!

Babbling (what types of sounds?): she has "conversations" with a stuffed bear where she practices her LA, DA, BA, HI, and general noise making

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Just started within the last week!

Infant or convertible carseat: Infant in DH & my car's, Convert in my mom's car

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Whatever she is eating at the moment! It always takes her a few bites but once she figures it out, she loves whatever she is eating (except green beans!)

Favorite toy or activity: Her stuffed bear! She wrestles it every night before bathtime!

We just had our appointment on Wednesday!Weight: 17 lbs 3 ozHeight: 25 inches ... Babbling (what types of sounds?): He never stops "talking". He makes all kinds of noises I can't even explain them. He loves to hear himself.STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Meh...he is so unpredictable. One night it's 6-7 hours, the next he wakes up every 2. Luckily he has more 6-7 hour nights now that we put him in his crib in his own room. That made a huge difference.Infant or convertible carseat: Infant, really need to look into the convertible Favorite food (or gives you the best response): There is nothing he won't eat so far, it's wonderful. I'd say he likes bananas and sweet potatoes the best!Favorite toy or activity: He likes to hold his books and try to eat every page. He loves the touch and feel books except instead of feeling them he licks the fur or whatever it is. It's pretty cute.

Weight: He was 19.5 lbs at his 6 month appt.

Height: 28 inches

How many teeth?: 6 teeth, but I think more are on the way

Rolling: Yes, in both directions.

Crawling: Nope, but some army crawl is happening and I've seen him do a baby pushup twice

Pulling self up: Not on his own, but will if we're holding him

Sitting on own: Yes. He's pretty sturdy now.

Babbling (what types of sounds?): Lots of high pitched sighing ("h" sound?), "bababa"

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): He used to sleep 8 hours, but that's gone out the window since his 6 month growth spurt and all his teething. Now he wakes twice at night to eat. I hope it's not a habit.

Infant or convertible carseat: Still in the infant seat, but looking to buy a convertible very soon.

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): banana

Favorite toy or activity: Jumperoo

How many teeth?: he is cutting his first two right now.

Rolling: Like a champ!

Crawling: Yup

Pulling self up: He will pull up on DH and I, but not on furniture yet

Sitting on own: yes

Babbling (what types of sounds?): just loud shrieking

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): About 90% of the time

Infant or convertible carseat: Making the switch to convertible this weekend.

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): applesauce!

Favorite toy or activity: "roughhousing" with Mom

Weight: (guessing here, our appt is 9-12) approx 19lbs

Height: (guessing again) aprrox 27in

How many teeth?: 2, bottom middles

Rolling: Oh are we ever. I can't lay the child on her back without her immediately flipping to her belly. She'll only roll back if you bribe her with toys. (but she can do it. She just doesn't want to)

Crawling: Not yet, but we'll get on all 4s and rock!

Pulling self up: She can pull herself up on me, if I'm sitting on the floor with her, and on her (breathable) crib bumper. She's also pretty good at it using the dog too. She hasn't figured out that she can pull up on other things yet.

Sitting on own: Like a champ

Babbling (what types of sounds?): mommommom, dadada, bababa ("Dadadaaaaaa" is her go-to sound. Especially if I don't let her hold something that she wants. It's like she's telling on me!)

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Yes. She usually sleeps from 9-4, then from 4:30-8ish. We've had a few wonky nights lately where she went down later than usual, but we still get at least a 6 hour stretch followed by a 4ish hour stretch.

Infant or convertible carseat: Convertible, in all vehicles now. We've been convertible in my car and my mom's van since June, and my hubs' truck for about a month now.

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Pears/mixes with pears in them. She devours them! She's seemed to like everything else pretty well too, except bananas. She'll eat them, but you can tell it's not her favorite flavor. She's even not crazy about banana puffs, while she'll try to inhale the other kinds.

Favorite toy or activity: Her exersaucer at my Mom's. It's got more "activites" on it than ours, and she'd sit in that thing for hours if we let her, I think. She's never ready to get out of it. She also loves being outside. We have a nice porch swing, and my Mom has some awesome hammock chairs. Aria likes to sit with you in all of them.

Babbling (what types of sounds?): Not babbling yet--mainly just ahhhhs and ooohhhs, with the occassional consonant thrown in for good measure (mainly when she is working over a toy in her mouth).

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Yes (8 PM to 4 AM, nurse, and then back to sleep until 6:30 AM)

Infant or convertible carseat: Both--depending on which car she is in.

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Avocado with lime juice, cilantro and garlic and sweet potatoes with cinnamon

Favorite toy or activity: Sophie and singing songs with hand motions.

Favorite toy or activity: Roll the ball, Standup ( he is so proud when he does this, we grab guide him of course). Mirror Mirror, Bathtime... he loves the bath!

How many teeth?: 0, but I can see the bottom 2 under her gums!

Rolling: around and around like a crazy woman

Crawling: we are working on it!

Pulling self up: not yet

Sitting on own: for a brief time when put in that position

Babbling (what types of sounds?): all vowels. Her recent favorite is "ahh bob bob bob". She is throwing some "ma"'s in once in awhile!

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Yes and no. She has her days.

Infant or convertible carseat: Infant but might be going to convertible sooner than anticipated. She's getting heavy!

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): carrots and peaches or chicken/apple combo. She loves all kinds of food.

Favorite toy or activity: She loves her jumperoo and really anything she can chew on

Rolling: Oh yeah! For a long time! Diaper and clothing changes have just recently become a nightmare!

Crawling: He is so close! Army crawls at top speed and has taken a few "steps" when on all 4s but cant quite get it yet.

Pulling self up: Nope

Sitting on own: Yep

Babbling (what types of sounds?): Lots of sounds! Mamamamama, lots of shrieks and long drawn out high pitched sighs.

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Depends on the day. Lately, no.

Infant or convertible carseat: Switching to convertible this weekend! So excited! If I ever decide on which one to buy...

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Green Beans or Peaches.

Favorite toy or activity: A water bottle, the tv remote, being tickled, and Sophie.

How many teeth?: 6!

Rolling: Yep. He's been going belly to back for a while, and he just started back to belly.

Crawling: Not yet. He gets into the position, and can go around in circles, but he hasn't figured out forwards.

Pulling self up: He does this on me a lot. He's done it on the furniture once, this morning!

Sitting on own:Yes. He's been doing this for a while.

Babbling (what types of sounds?): D sounds and G sounds the most. Dee Dee Dee and Doo Doo Doo, and Gee, etc. Also the NG sound and the B sound.

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Yes, thank goodness! He falls asleep usually between 9 and 9:30. He sometimes wakes up at 4:30 or 5 and then goes back to sleep, or he sleeps straight through until 6:30 or 7 and is up for the day.

Infant or convertible carseat: Infant

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Oatmeal with fruit.

Favorite toy or activity: His favorite toy is a blue stuffed penguin. He cracks up whenever he sees it. His favorite activity is standing. It's better than any toy.

Babbling (what types of sounds?): baba,mama, gaga, ooo, probably others I can't think of right now.

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): - yes

Infant or convertible carseat: - infant, but ready for convertible as soon as we get one.

Favorite food (or gives you the best response) - any kind of fruit, especially peaches.

Favorite toy or activity: loves any kind of noisemaker. Sophie is still a hit. Loves books too.

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Usually yes, but lately she's been waking once a night to feed.

Infant or convertible carseat: Convertible.

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Breast milk. Apparently Charlotte's the only one who doesn't like any solids at all, and I've introduced quite a few already Sad .

Favorite toy or activity: Sophie, her rattle, pink hippo stuffie, soft blocks and her sippy cup with water.

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): don't know yet, it's been 5 days. so far I would say squash but she's only had 2 or 3 things

Favorite toy or activity: My iphone...sigh. He also loves our walks.

Crawling: trying, I think it's going to happen pretty soon

Sitting on own: for a litte bit, gets better every day

Babbling (what types of sounds?): raspberries, ma, ba, teradactyl sounds

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): yes for the most part, sometimes he even sleeps from 8pm until 6am - wish he'd do that more consistently

Infant or convertible carseat: both, my husband hates the converitble b/c Dylan likes to fall asleep in the car and he can't take the carseat in with him like the infant one.

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Starting solids tomorrow!

Favorite toy or activity: by far the jumperoo! I bought him all these toys and the one thing I got of Craigslist cause I wasn't sure he was going to like it he freakin' loves. It's a way for us to get things done around the house and he thoroughly enjoys it! We call him Michael Flately when he's on it.

I wanted to add his age: He'll be 6 months this weekend

How many teeth?: a quarter of one

Rolling: both ways

Crawling: DD can push herself backwards and spin in circles on the floor. But she hasn't figured out how to get her legs and arms under her at the same time. She's working hard at it though!

Pulling self up: Not yet

Sitting on own: If I put her there she can sit on her own really well. She has also reach for things and sit back up. But she can't get to sitting by herself yet.

Babbling what types of sounds?: Her current favorite is the dynosaur growl. She also just sits and "talks" to anything.

STTN let's consider it at least 6 hours: Thankfully yes! She will sleep from about 8:30pm to 5:30am. Then she's up for the day.

Infant or convertible carseat:b Still in the infant. DH won't let me switch her until I absolutely have to. We'll probably have to buy 3 each of us and MIL since she does our daycare. Not looking forward to that expense.

Favorite food or gives you the best response: Sweet potatoes are the favorite so far

Favorite toy or activity: DD loves them all, she's not real particular about what she plays with.

Height: 26 inches (at 6 month appt on 8/13)

How many teeth?: 0 (but I see a little white dot...so maybe soon)

Rolling: Yup. Both ways.

Crawling: Yup. Army and all four.

Pulling self up: Yup and getting better at the "getting himself down" part

Sitting on own: Yup

Babbling (what types of sounds?): Dada, Mama, Baba (plus screeches, raspberries, and this really high pitched noise that he likes to make really quiet then loud then quiet...)

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Yup (and down to 1-2 oz for his one wake-up at around 7 hours)

Infant or convertible carseat: Infant - we'll use this until he outgrows it. Now that it is getting cooler, we are just going to leave it in the car and not carry it in and out (suckers getting heavy!)

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Salmon has gotten the most reaction, but other favorites have been beef, avocado, and a spinach/apple/rutabaga mix. He pretty much likes everything, though yogurt is definitely his least favorite.

Favorite toy or activity: His leapfrog music table is definitely a favorite. Lately, he just wants to pull up and stand or jump-jump-jump!

Rolling: Side to side but not back to tummy. . . yet.

Crawling: Nope, he'll probably walk before he crawls. Hates tummy time.

Pulling self up: Yes

Sitting on own: Yes, but he falls back quite a bit. Never to the sides.

Babbling (what types of sounds?): Lots of Mums and Dades, Babay

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Praise the Lord, YES!! 8-6 (10 glorious hrs)

Infant or convertible carseat: Infant, I'm cheap he'll be in it till he's one

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Loves Mum's cookies. And any kind of fruit.

Favorite toy or activity: Loves his Johnny Jumper & the Einstein.

Favorite toy or activity: She loves tummy time and has these oversized fabric blocks that she loves to play with. Some of them have bells inside and some of them have crinkly stuff that make noise when you squish them. She loves to bite those!

How many teeth?: 0

Rolling: Only once - 2 days ago

Crawling: She scooches...backwards...

Pulling self up: No - but she puts weight on her legs while we hold her.

Sitting on own:Yup - I put a pillow or her boppy behind her though in case she topples backwards so she doesn't hit her head. But that's not so often.

Babbling (what types of sounds?): Dada, Baba, Gaga, Mama and raspberries during meal times - with food in her mouth...

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): She sleeps 6 hours about 3 times a week. She usually wakes up around 3 and sometimes midnight AND 3...Always hungry. I may start giving formula at night.

Infant or convertible carseat: Infant for now. We're going to try to make it to 35 pounds (the max) before the convertible seat. We stopped carrying the infant seat in though. Too heavy.

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Green Beans and Squash. She is liking everything at this point though.

Favorite toy or activity Her favorite toys are her Baby Einsteins duck and the diving rings for our pool

Let's do an update about our babies! Since a majority of us have had our 6 month appointment I decided to go ahead with the post. If you haven't gone yet just fill out what you can!

Weight: 13 lbs 2 ozs

Height: 25 inches

How many teeth?: one (barely peaking threw)

Rolling: has 3 times, but doesnt ever do it

Crawling: not yet, she "swims"

Pulling self up: yes

Sitting on own: yes

Babbling (what types of sounds?): yes mama mama mama, and nanannana

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): nope wakes up at 12 and 5

Infant or convertible carseat: infant

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): carrots, apples and cherries

Favorite toy or activity: anything that isnt a toy...she loves playing with my necklaces.

Weight: 15 pounds 5 ounces at six months

Height: 25 inches at six months

How many teeth?: Zero! However, she's had teething symptoms for almost two months so hopefully something will break through soon!

Rolling: Like a mad woman. It's her method of transportation right now.

Crawling: Not yet

Pulling self up: Not yet

Sitting on own: She can't get herself there, but if we put her there she'll sit for up to twenty seconds or so before she tries to wiggle away.

Babbling (what types of sounds?): She's making so many sounds it's hard to keep track. No real words yet though.

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): Squash and bananas.

Favorite toy or activity: Anything that she can put in her mouth

Crawling: not on all fours, but he scoots like an army crawl

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): yes, but recently he's been getting up again

Favorite toy or activity: he loves most of his toys as long as we rotate them in and out, but his current favorite is a stuffed monkey

Sitting on own:Can sit up for a few seconds unassisted

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Sleeps 8-7ish (super blessed by this one)

How many teeth?: 0 (glad to not worry about getting bit!!)

Rolling: Yes

Crawling: Not yet, she will get into the crawling position for up to 30 seconds at a time, but hasn't figured out how to actually crawl yet.

Pulling self up: Not unless she has a little help.

Sitting on own: Yes, just started this week.

Babbling (what types of sounds?): Definitely, she loves making raspberries. She also says mama, hungry, and "woah" (which is hilarious).

STTN (let's consider it at least 6 hours): Yes, she stopped for awhile, but she slept her longest last night at 7 hours!!

Infant or convertible carseat: Infant still, we will use this as long as we can.

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): She loves eating, especially her fruits. Blueberry, Apple, Pear puree.

Favorite toy or activity: She really likes her Fisher Price Baby's First Blocks.

He won't have his 6 month check up until he is 7 months which I hate but I will put in what I know

Weight: 16.4

Height: at his 4 month he was 26 inches

How many teeth?0

: Rolling:Oh yes!

Crawling: yes

Pulling self up:No

Sitting on own: sometimes.

Babbling (what types of sounds?): Oh yes, sometimes he says things that sound like mama, oh, etc. and he does this weird thing where after he "talks" he sucks in a lot of air to make a noise. STTN

(let's consider it at least 6 hours): Thankfully he has been doing this since about 2 months! He sleeps about 8-10 hours on average.

Infant or convertible carseat: Infant but looking into a convertible because his seat only goes up to 30 inches, and I am sure he is very close to that now! Maybe he will need it around Christmas and we can get one as a Christmas gift lol

Favorite food (or gives you the best response): banana, green beans, sweet pot. yogurt and applesauce, he always does an excited give me more face and reaches for the spoon with those.

Favorite toy or activity: This activity mat that has a piano at the end he can kick with a toy bar above it and his new thing is the jumper too.
