Thyroid Issues

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 15 years ago.  I just spoke to my endocrinologist, who wants to me to have blood work to test TSH and T4 ASAP.  I asked him if 4 weeks was too early, and he said that the very beginning of pregnancy is when it is most important to check and stabilize levels.

Just wanted to post in case anyone else has thyroid issues and didn't think to contact their doctor.  With my 1st, my dosage went from 50mcg to 200mcg over the course of TTC and the pregnancy.  Crazy how much it affects every part of your body!
