I'm sorry if this has already been done but the post below about books got me thinking about kids' books.

I'm TIRED of reading the same old stories at home - DD has lots of books but her faves (Goodnight Moon, Lullaby Moon) I can "read" to her in the dark bc I know them by heart and can't get them outta my head!

Please recommend your fav. books to read to/with your kids, TIA!

DS loves Where the Wild Things Are.

DD's fave book is The Knot Fairy by Bobbie Hinman. I guess she makes a whole line of fairy books.  The Fart Fairy is also one.

DS is into the Little Critter books, Little Quack, Clifford, and Curious George.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Llama Llama Red Pajama, and Outside Over There are current favorites.  DH really likes Harold and the Purple Crayon, but it's still a little advanced for DS.  I think the How Do Dinosaurs Do (Insert Book Theme) and the Berenstein Bears series are awesome.

DD loves the Sandra Boyton books: Red Hat, Green Hat (or something like that I can't really remember), Dogs, Dogs, Dogs, Moo, Baaa, La, la, la and Horns Toes and In between. We also have the book called B is for Bear, I can't remember who it is by. It is touch and feel book and DD freaking loves it.

We just got a library card.  Haven't made it there yet but I will definitely make a note of all these suggestions for when we make a trip to check out some books!

DD loves I Love You Through and Through as well - we also have Count My Kisses, Little One by the same author.  That one's a big hit too if you want to check that out.
