We waited until we were visiting DH's family and we put DS in a shirt that said "I'm going to be a big brother" and let everyone discover it on their own. DH has 5 siblings, so there were lots of hilarious reactions. It was a lot of fun.

I taped a picture of the sonogram onto the back of a Shutterfly advertisement (since it was a 4x6 photo paper sheet). I show pictures to my family all the time so no one expected anything by me handing a stack of pictures of them to take a look at. It was hidden in the middle.
To announce it to everyone online (after immediate family knew), I made shirts for my parents, his parents, our siblings and niece that had their "title" on it. We took a big group picture together in the backyard. It was really fun!
