In Supernatural the angel helping the main characters out is nicknamed Cass. I think it is short for Castiel. And in case you aren't familiar with the show, yes the angel is a guy.

I'm ok with Cass as a male nn (not sure if I would have been before watching the show). Not a big fan of Castiel as an IRL name though. I would prefer Caspar, Casey or Cassidy. Cass by itself is a surname, so you could probably get away with skipping the nn and using Cass as his proper name.
