Pockets & Inserts question

I'm meeting someone who's selling her used pocket CDs (FB medium & BG 3.0 OS).  However, she said they do not come with inserts.

Does that mean I have to buy brand-specific inserts to go w/the pocket diapers?  The seller also said that she is selling Rumparooz 6hr soakers and babykicks "organic hemparoos."  Can I use those as inserts in the FB & BG instead?  If not, are there any alternatives I can use as inserts for the pockets rather than buying the brand-specific ones (new)?

Sorry for these dumb questions, I'm a newbie FTM trying to build up my stash...  TIA!

You do not have to buy brand specific inserts. Any one that fits in the diaper should work just fine!

Both FB mediums and BGs are pretty wide in the crotch so you shouldn't have a problem finding something that works. GL!

The seller ended up throwing in 2 Babykicks organic hemparoos for free.  They fit very well in the FB & BG!  Too bad she only had 2 of those.  Her other inserts/soakers all had stains on them so I passed.
