I don't have a girl at home with us yet, but I am pregnant with a girl right now. I just wanted to say that I think it is really normal to feel this way OP. My first is a boy and initially I was really nervous when we found out his sex because I never had any brothers and thought I would be more comfortable with girls. However, now after having him, I have to stretch my mind around what it will be like having a girl. Yes, they are similar when they are little, but as they get older there will definitely be some differences! I think many parents have ideas and expectations, but those shift and adjust many times over when your child is actually born and you find out who they are.
