first appt... FINALLY!

It was great. Measuring on track... Took awhile to find the heart beat. When I heard it I started bawling. No weight gain yet, yes! Last pregnancy I gained about 40 pounds. I've lost 50, fortunately!

Also no ultra sound until 18 to 20 weeks.

Ah.. Feels so great to have had the appt!

DS1 -6/25/11

DS2 -3/23/13

Missed MC D&C 8/26/14

DD - 8/26/15

LO#4 due 5/30/17

    Yeah for a good appt. Boo however to not getting an u/s until another 8 weeks!!

    They tell me it's a good sign if I don't need one before then... I had a early u/s with last pregnancy for dating. I was thrown off by the implantation bleeding.

    Woohoo! I'm glad your first appt was exciting! At mine, they didn't even check for the heart beat :(  At my 15 week appt, they're supposed to check for a heartbeat, and I'm in the same boat as you with the ultrasound, 18-20weeks is the soonest they'll do it unless there's something wrong.
